Why Choose Thompson Plumbing?

No Hidden Costs

Some plumbing companies may avoid discussing price or may come up with a different total than originally quoted once a job is done. Thompson Plumbing believes in upfront communication with its customers, which is why we talk about pricing from the very beginning of the process. We understand that it is important for customers to understand the cost of repairs and to plan for them. We won’t tack on any hidden add-on services or fees after a final price is discussed.

We also want to make sure each and every customer understands the services they are receiving. We won’t use industry jargon that only plumbers know—we’ll break down each process in a way that customers can understand. That way, you know what you’re paying for and can be sure you’re receiving an honest service.

About Thompson Plumbing

When I set out on my own for the second time, I decided I wanted to build a plumbing company that was different than anywhere else I had worked in the 25 years I’ve been doing this.

First and foremost I wanted to take care of my people, I wholeheartedly believe that by making Thompson Plumbing the best possible place to work that in return our staff will take care of our customers.

Second, I wanted to serve our community. I believe in providing an outstanding service at a fair price; our goal is to build customers for life. Cartersville is where I have made my home, and it is where my two daughters have grown up. I’m proud to live in and serve such a wonderful community.

Water Heater Installation
If your hot water heater is dripping or showing signs of rust around it, it may be time to replace it. Although the lifespan of your water heater can vary, on average it should be replaced around every 8-12 years. Whether you are installing the water heater in a new home or replacing yours, the job requires some specialty tools and heavy lifting of the heating unit. Let us handle this job for you and get it done the right way.
Sewer Backups
Home sewer backups can occur for multiple reasons. Sometimes, things that should not be end up in your sewer system are flushed down the toilet or put down the garbage disposal. Grease can especially cause problems in sewers, because when it is left in the pipes it can harden and form a clog. If your home is serviced by a city sewer system, the system can be overtaxed during a heavy rainstorm, and a sewer backup can occur. In older homes, tree roots may begin growing into pipes and cause problems. It may be tempting to use consumer plumbing products or chemicals to try to fix a backup—don’t! These chemicals can actually cause more harm and make the problem worse.
Home Repiping

Although you can’t see it, the plumbing system of your home is always working behind the scenes. It brings fresh water into your home. If the pipes within your walls become old or rusty, they will begin to affect the water flow and quality. Old corroded pipes may result in rusty water. Cracked pipes can cause leaks and slow water flow. From time to time, replacement of all plumbing pipes may be necessary to avoid any structural damage and ensure water safety. Repiping a residence requires detailed planning and care. Let our expert contractors take care of the task of repiping your home.
